On Friday, May 1st, Chanel was in a zip lining accident. The line snapped and she fell from about 25 - 30 ft high. She is now at Harborview Medical Center. She has had multiple surgeries so far and will need more. She has two broken ribs on her left side, a fractured left ankle, fracture of her right elbow and a fracture of her wrist which is completely displaced. She also has a burst fracture of 4 vertebrae and two fractured compressed vertebrae against her spine. Chanel has been so positive, strong & brave throughout this sudden change in her life. She is a total inspiration. Due to COVID-19, she has only had a few short visits from immediate family. Physically, she is facing much of this on her own. But she has SO many of us there in spirit. In effort to support her through her healing journey, we wanted to create this GoFundMe to show our love and minimize any financial hardship that may follow.
