My name is Ben Vasquez and my cat, Chanel (7 year old American Short-fur Tuxedo cat), was diagnosed with a Thymoma (a tumor in the chest cavity). I have consulted with an oncologist and typically thymoma can be removed through an invasive surgery which needs anesthesia and radiation therapy afterwards to complete treatment. However, this route is expensive but is the treatment of choice for longevity and quality of life.
My partner, Amanda, adopted Chanel from a rescue when Chanel was about 1 year old. We have had her ever since and she is a very talkative, playful, loyal, and loving cat who loves to eat (she pretty much acts like a dog). I very much see her as my own child and want to provide her with the best help, with the best possible outcome in mind. All donations are going towards Chanel's surgery and hopeful recovery.
Any and all help is very much appreciated!
