Hi, my name is Nalani, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my friend Faith and her family.

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, Faith’s mom, Chanel Olea, was in a terrible motorcycle accident. She was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries and is now facing multiple surgeries, followed by a long road of recovery and rehabilitation. Doctors expect months—possibly a year or more—of healing, physical therapy, and careful follow-up.

Chanel is a devoted mom to Faith and her little brother, Matthew. While Chanel fights to get better, her kids are trying to adjust to hospital visits, missed routines, and the uncertainty that comes with not knowing exactly when their mom will be fully well again. It’s a lot for any family, and it’s heartbreaking to watch people you love carry so much at once.

Alongside the emotional weight, there’s a very real financial strain. Hospital and surgical costs, ongoing therapy, medications, transportation to appointments, and everyday essentials like rent, utilities, and groceries are adding up quickly. Chanel won’t be able to work for some time, and this family needs some breathing room so they can focus on what matters most: Chanel’s healing and the kids’ stability.
