Hi all. If you don't know me, I'm Chandra Heidel. On Monday, October 6th, my life took the worst turn of my life. I started out my work day and got hit out of nowhere with shortness of breath and thought I was having a heart attack. I called my Mom and she rushed me to the Altoona ER where they spent over 14 hours running rigorous testing. I had been diagnosed with a pneumothorax which is very serious as it is between my heart and lung, on top of the other diagnosis, in the exact words of the doctor, "a ton of liver cysts". I can barely breathe which makes it painful to eat, and it has caused me to lose weight and strength rapidly. I am currently in a hospital bed, emaciated, as I cannot make it up the steps to the bedroom. I have no income coming in right now as I had to suddenly quit work, and I was basically subcontracted as a driver for USPS. It has been so hard on my husband Brad, and I'm embarrassed to ask for help. I just set the suggested goal by go fund me, but ANYTHING would help at this trying time.
