Hello,

My name is Chanda Mulligan. So, on March 24th, I got a phone call from my oldest son (Jaden) in Washington state saying, "Mom, grandma is gone!" My mom had passed away the day before her 66th birthday, and 5 days before my 41st birthday. The last few days have been extremely hard for me because my mom and I were very close. I haven't seen her face to face in 3 years, and now I will never get to see her face to face again!

I need to raise about $700.00 so I can make it up to Washington state for my mom's funeral on the 1st. I've come up with $100.00 so far. I'm hoping I can find a few good people to help me with the cost to get up there. It is faster to drive, so I need to rent a car and rent a hotel room when I get there. I do not like flying; it scares me, and driving is faster than a train. I need to get up there so I can be there for my dad, my kids, and my siblings. My mom was the rock in our family. She was there for me whenever I needed her. She was my best friend and my hero. If you are able to help me out during this very difficult time, I thank you in advance for taking the time to read my story, and any help is greatly appreciated.
