Support Chance's Fight Against Brain Cancer

Dear friends and family,
I want to take a moment to share something deeply personal about my sister and her partner, Chance. They have spent their lives searching for one another, and over the past two years, they have found a love that brings them immense joy. However, their journey took a heartbreaking turn when Chance was recently diagnosed with high grade glioblastoma, a very aggressive recurring type of brain cancer.
Chance is a dedicated and hardworking man, driving a truck to provide for his family. Unfortunately, due to this diagnosis, he is unable to return to work at this time, placing a heavy financial burden on them as they navigate medical bills, COBRA, and living expenses on now a single income.
On October 14, 2024, Chance received his diagnosis, and just two days later, he underwent resection surgery that removed 99% of the tumor. Thankfully, he tolerated the procedure well and was able to return home on October 18 to begin his recovery. Now, we find ourselves in a waiting game until the pathology reports come back, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for November 1, 2024, to learn more about his condition. This will dictate further treatment recommendations but will mostly likely include oral chemo and radiation.
During this challenging time, any support you can offer—whether through thoughts, prayers, or financial assistance—would mean the world to them. Please consider following along on our page for updates as they navigate this journey.
Thank you all for your love and support. Together, we can help lift them up during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Jackie
