What began as an ongoing health struggle became even more alarming when Chance collapsed while on break at work, was taken by ambulance, and was hospitalized for several days. He did his best to return to work, but the pain and other complications remained too severe, and he eventually had to go on leave through company short-term disability. On top of the physical toll, Chance is now facing uncertainty as he looks into experimental treatments that may or may not bring relief.

This fundraiser is meant to help ease some of the heavy burden Chance is carrying right now. The funds will primarily go toward medical bills and everyday living expenses, since short-term disability pay does not cover everything. ADS hopes this support can give Chance and his family a little breathing room so he can focus on healing instead of falling further behind.
