Help Us Keep Champions in Business and Proudly Display Our Israeli Flag

Champions Liquor has proudly served this community for many years, becoming not just a business, but a place of unity and support. As part of our values, we have always stood firmly with Israel and displayed the Israeli flag in our front window as a symbol of solidarity and pride.

Unfortunately, our landlord at University Towers has informed us that our lease, which expires on January 1, 2026, will not be renewed. The reasons given are deeply troubling and discriminatory. Management has cited complaints, including one from a parent who expressed fear for her daughter’s safety solely because our business displays the Israeli flag. Additionally, they claim our flag violates lease terms, despite it being a peaceful expression of our identity and beliefs. We believe this to be an act of anti-Semitism and discrimination against our values and our community.

We are determined to continue our mission, to keep Champions in business, and to ensure that our Israeli flag continues to fly proudly. To accomplish this, we are seeking to raise $750,000 through our GoFundMe campaign. These funds will allow us to purchase, remodel, and relocate Champions to a new location, on the same block, where we can continue serving our loyal customers without fear of discrimination.

We are calling upon the good-hearted Israeli and Jewish community, as well as all those who stand against hatred and prejudice, to help us in this fight. With your support, we can overcome these challenges, preserve our business, and ensure that the values we stand for remain strong.
