Support Chaka's Time with Mom in Hospice

I never imagined I would be writing this, but life has a way of reminding us just how precious time truly is. My mother is now in hospice care with stage 4 breast cancer, and as difficult as this journey has been, I want to be by her side as much as possible in these final moments.

As many of you know, I am a small business owner, and my work requires my full attention and creativity to keep things running. Stepping away means that my income will be significantly impacted, and the weight of bills and expenses will add up quickly. While I would never trade this time with my mom for anything, the financial strain is a real concern.

I am humbly asking for your support to help ease this burden. Your donations will allow me to focus on what truly matters—being present with my mother, comforting her, and making the most of the time we have left. Funds raised will go toward everyday expenses, business-related costs, and the necessities that come with stepping away from work during this difficult time. Because I’ve experienced multiple deaths in my family and health problems over the past 5 years, what I had saved for emergencies is depleted.
