Aloha friends and family.
Life has a way of throwing curveballs, and sometimes they hit us hard. My little brother, Chago, aka Frankie, has been thrown quite the curveball at him. A stroke, an aneurysm and now he’s facing a double bypass surgery.
WTH?!?! I know. It's hard to believe.
We are incredibly grateful and relieved that he has great doctors and we feel that Chago is going to feel like a new man once he’s fully recovered! We can’t wait to see him back on his feet feeling even better than before and I'm 100% confident that you feel the same!
Chago / Frankie is a man of many talents as you all already know. He may have DJ'd your wedding, birthday party or fundraiser. Or he may have handed you the keys to your new home. He may even have set you up for a financially secure future.
He has an unstoppable work ethic, pours his heart out to help people and he has always been a positive force in our family and the community. But this stroke and the upcoming heart surgery has proven to been his most challenging experiences yet.
His road to recovery from the stroke has been very steep. And the recovery from the upcoming heart surgery is going to take a few months.
Speaking of hearts, if you're reading this, it's likely that you know my brother has a big heart. His strength, positivity and determination is something to be admired. And he hasn't allowed these challenges to change who he is.
Unfortunately, the reality is that his days are now filled with doctor's appointments, medical treatments and rehabilitation so it will be a while before he is able to return to the full swing of his businesses.
Thank you to the friends and family who continuously reach out asking what you can do. Which has led me to respond with this heartfelt message.
Chago is a humble person and has always been a giver and the source of support for others and now I’ve shared with him that it’s time for him to be a receiver.
So as his big sister I'm reaching out to our amazing and loving community of family and friends. It would be awesome to be able to help relieve some of his financial stress so that when he’s out from heart surgery instead of worrying about medical bills, rent, utility and grocery bills he can be 100% focused on his mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. My goal is that 3 months of his living and medical expenses are going to be paid through this group effort.
He cherishes his unique relationships with each and every one of you and is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, encouragement and support.
Your kindness and generosity means more than you know to him, me, and my family.
If you have been wanting to help Chago, thank you! Here is your opportunity!
Please consider adding to his recovery fund through venmo, zelle or here on GoFundMe. Chago / Frankie's venmo is Frankie-Campos. Zelle via his phone number.
And I know that my baby brother has so many wonderful circles of friends, personally and professionally, that I don’t know of so if you would please share this post so that more of his friends are aware I’d be forever grateful!
Together, we can help him keep the music going, keep selling homes and keep securing financial futures. Thank you all very much! Any contributions are greatly appreciated.
With heartfelt gratitude, love and aloha,
Chago's big sis Ang and the Campos familia.
