Chad has been my best friend for over 30 years—a hardworking, humble person who always shows up for others. He’s spent so much of his life outdoors, whether landscaping, running on trails, or biking the gravel roads around Pisgah National Forest.

Now, he’s facing one of the toughest challenges of his life. Recently, Chad was hospitalized with significant neurological symptoms that looked like a stroke, but doctors have ruled that out and are still trying to figure out what is going on. He is experiencing aphasia and has had weakness on his left side, but thankfully, he is regaining strength and mobility and will be moving to a rehab facility in the next few days.

Chad has always been the first to lend a hand, and now he and Rain need our support. The funds raised will help cover living expenses, medical bills, and the costs of therapy and rehabilitation while Chad is unable to work.
