Support Chad's Recovery and Healing Journey
Donation protected
On July 27th, my brother Chad sustained a significant injury to his face, resulting in half of his nose being bitten off. He was messing around with their dog, and missed the cue to stop, resulting in the injury. Chad's surgery and healing will require down time for the graft to heal, which will mean lost wages. This family has been through so much, as Chad was also diagnosed with AVN, which is a vascular disease where the blood supply isn't able to reach the bones. This in turn resulted in 2 total hip replacements, and another 3rd surgery to repair some other things. Chad's follow up appointment is tomorrow in Madison, to see how the graft is healing. Please consider donating as my sister in law Jennifer is the only one working.
If you are unable to donate, please share.
Thank you,
Dawn
I want to thank all of our friends and family for your support. This past year and a half has been trying, to say the least. We found out in May of 2023 that Chad has AVN ( A vascular necrosis.) AVN is a bone disease where his bones die from the inside out at the joints. We don't know when or if the AVN will occur to the joint until it happens. So far it has been detected in both of his hips, hence 3 hip surgeries. We thought we were moving forward then part of his nose was bitten off by our dog. NO it was not an attack. Chad was messing around with the dog and got in his face and the dog had enough and bit him.
We both hate asking for help. Especially me. I try to do it all. But we are at a point with all of the time off work from surgeries and now off work again, and all the medical bills, that we are struggling. We both would appreciate anything you could give to help us through. Yes, I am still working. I work overtime every week. It still isn't enough. I pray and know it will work out the way it is meant to be. Thanks for being there for us!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Jennifer and Chad Lindeman
