My name is Tara, and I live in Portland, Oregon. My brother Chad, who is a war veteran, and his wife lost their house and all their belongings on Veterans Day to the Callahan Wildfire in Reno, Nevada. It was a total loss. Nothing was salvageable. They only have the clothes on their backs. They need to replace absolutely everything. Included in their loss were 2 vehicles, a brand new motor for one of the vehicles, brand new snow tires, about $40,000 worth of tools, all household items - furniture, cooking appliances, clothing, and of course irreplaceable items such as photos, our deceased father's items, ashes from our deceased father and brother. I am asking for help on their behalf to begin to rebuild their lives. Any amount, no matter how small, will help.
