On December 31st, Chad was taken to the emergency department after enduring a seizure. From there, on January 1st, he was transferred to Abbott Northwestern Hospital. While in the hospital, it was confirmed that he had a glioblastoma brain tumor.
In attempt to remove as much of the tumor as possible, he had surgery on January 3rd.
Once Chad healed from surgery, he began radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Unfortunately, imaging showed another tumor growing before beginning treatments.
Yet another obstacle, Chad was diagnosed with hydrocephalus and underwent another procedure to place a ventriculoperitoneal shunt to drain fluid from his brain.
As of today, Chad continues to have chemotherapy treatments and will follow up with his oncology team next Tuesday.
Please continue to pray for Chad.
Chad has the best sense of humor, caring heart, and willingness to put others first.
With that being said, I’m asking for your help to alleviate some of the financial burden while Chad and his family navigate through this unimaginable situation.
