Support for the Poulsen Family
The Poulsen family has deep roots in Southern Utah, where Chad and Michelle raised their five children and now enjoy having grandchildren close by. Chad has spent over 25 years serving communities across Southern Utah, Southern Nevada, and Northern Arizona as a Firefighter Paramedic, Wildland Firefighter Paramedic, and EMS & Fire instructor.
In early October, Chad was hospitalized with a life-threatening medical emergency. What first appeared to be a minor injury quickly turned serious, leading to an ER visit and hospital admission. He is expected to recover, but the process will take at least 6 months. Chad lost a month of work and has only been able to return part-time as he rebuilds strength.
His medical needs now include over $1,000 per month in medications alone, with one prescription costing more than $700. To make matters even more difficult, the Poulsens unexpectedly lost their medical insurance just before Chad’s hospitalization. They are now anticipating $20,000–$25,000 in hospital bills, plus several thousand dollars more in ongoing recovery costs.
The Poulsen’s could really use our help at this time. Please donate—every little bit helps.
