On December 11th, Chad Paschall was shopping at the Ross clothing store in Rogers, Arkansas, when he found himself in the middle of a terrifying situation. A masked man entered the store, held a store employee at gunpoint, and demanded money from the cash register. Without hesitation or concern for his own safety, Chad sprang into action. He rallied several other shoppers and charged at the gunman, using his shopping cart to knock the suspect to the ground. Chad then jumped on top of the gunman, securing him with a chokehold, and with the help of the other shoppers, disarmed and detained the suspect until police arrived.

Chad Paschall and his fellow shoppers showed incredible courage and selflessness in the face of immediate danger. Their actions protected not only the store employees but also everyone present that day. Chad’s bravery reflects great credit upon himself, his family, and the entire Northwest Arkansas community. His actions are a powerful reminder of the fighting spirit and unity that define our community.
