Dear Friends & Family,

It’s with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Cody Chad Henry. Chad, 31 years old, left us unexpectedly on October 22nd, 2024 due to organ failure. Chad bravely battled heart complications and other various health conditions for the last several years. Chad’s son, Joseph, will carry on the family name. Chad was a father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

When we think about the good times with Chad, we can’t help but laugh. No matter what battles he was going through, Chad’s sense of humor was infectious. His smile and demeanor always brightened up the room. Chad’s ability to connect with people was special. He could conversate with anyone and you felt like you knew him your whole life. If you knew Chad, you were like family to him.

It's been tough on the family and his loved ones. Countless trips and stays and time off work while Chad battled for his life at the Stanford University Medical Center, UCLA hospital and VCMC. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us cover the expenses of Chad’s memorial.
