Since unexpectedly losing my job due to layoffs in August of 2025, I have survived on severance and unemployment. Unfortunately, I have incurred multiple setbacks costing a significant amount of money while I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to find new employment despite over a decade of experience in my current field.

As I have reached the end of my unemployment benefits, I am now faced with the possibility of being evicted if I am unable to pay my rent, which would result in me losing the 50% custody I have of my 5-year old daughter. I am also at risk of losing my vehicle, which I would need when I find a job, and is also required in caring for my daughter.

Early this year I spent the last of my limited funds on an Audio Visual industry certification in hopes that it would make the difference in my job hunt. Over the past month I have expanded my job search to additional fields and have more than quadrupled my outgoing applications. Despite my efforts, my search has continued to be fruitless.

I am asking for any assistance in helping me keep my daughter and I housed and mobile for the next two months as I continue to seek out employment, as well as researching any other options available to me in keeping us afloat. This includes selling off whatever property I think I can to make ends meet.
