We are reaching out to community to raise funds for our deeply loved friend and community member Cewa (@anommalouss). On Jan 11, Cewa got into a bike accident that left their collarbone broken. Cewa is a private care assistant and works for disabled people, physically lifting and transferring folks multiple times a day. They also work under the table and do not qualify for any governmental assistance because of that. They do not receive sick pay as well. They are about to undergo surgery and cannot work for 2 months, potentially more, due to the nature of this injury and their line of work.

They are in severe pain and are fairly immobile from the waist up. Cewa will be needing $6,000 to cover their rent, food, ride support, meds, and any other basic needs while they are recovering. Please consider donating and sharing. Cewa is a beautiful, dependable, and incredibly generous person who works so hard. They do not have any other financial options or safety network. Now is our time to give back to them, and allow them to rest and heal.
