Hi, my name is Shirley Scott (a.k.a. Priscilla), and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life.
My son, Cesar, is currently hospitalized at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, where he is bravely fighting a serious and rare condition involving MuSK antibodies.
This condition affects his muscles and makes simple, everyday things—like eating, swallowing, and even breathing—extremely difficult.
The photo above shows Cesar currently in the hospital, receiving care. Seeing your child like this is something no parent is ever prepared for.
Cesar is undergoing treatment and constant monitoring. As a mother, it is heartbreaking to watch your child go through this. Every day is filled with uncertainty—but also strength, faith, and hope.
This condition is also believed to be genetic, and doctors are working to understand how it developed and how severe it may be. Our family is going through testing as part of this process.
Right now, my only focus is being by Cesar’s side—supporting him, comforting him, and making sure he gets everything he needs to fight through this.
Unfortunately, the financial burden has become overwhelming.
Between:
• Ongoing hospital stays
• Medical treatments and specialized care
• Transportation to and from the hospital
• Daily living expenses while I remain by his side
…it has become extremely difficult to manage everything alone.
I am asking for help to support Cesar during this fight.
No amount is too small. Every donation, every share, and every prayer truly makes a difference.
If you are unable to give, please help by sharing this campaign with others.
Your love, support, and prayers mean more than words can express. Thank you for helping me stay strong for my son during this time.
With love and gratitude,
Shirley Scott (a.k.a. Priscilla)
