Support Celita's Battle Against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
We all know her as the always smiling, happy Celita, in fact, she knows almost everyone. There’s a running joke within our family, that she is the unofficial town mayor. She’s not the pillar of our community by her title, but she embodies what is universally revered of a nurse. She has given more to her community than most of us could even fathom.
Celita’s smile had been dimmed and her boys need our help! Approximately 4/5 months ago she was having pain in her breast. Like a good nurse, she went to her yearly mammogram and was given the horrific news that she had Stage 3 Breast Cancer, and so began her journey to recovery.
If you know Celita, you know she lives for her boys. She is the image of a good southern woman who lives by the phrase, “give it to God.” It’s our turn to give to her.
She has had a double mastectomy and has completed her first round of chemotherapy. It was awful! This has sidelined her from her profession, which she loves, but more importantly her family.
Sadly the ability to care and provide for her family has been and will continue to be a challenge for the next few months. She has at least 3 more rounds of Chemo to go.
Any contribution you can give, big or small will make a world of difference. If you know Celita, you know she would give a stranger the shirt off her back and a lecture on how you should have come to her sooner. Her family thanks you for your consideration. All of the funds will go directly to help pay her medical bills, mortgage, food, and any other bills until she can get back on her feet.
