Support My Transition Journey

Hi, my name is Celine, and I am reaching out for support as I navigate my journey as a trans woman in the early stages of transitioning. I have only just begun hormone therapy (HRT), and while this is an exciting time for me, it has also been incredibly challenging.

My Story: A year ago, my partner and I faced a traumatic transphobic attack in our home, which forced us to leave behind our hopes for a peaceful life in St. Louis. Since then, we've struggled to find stability, and the effects of that trauma have made it difficult for me to feel safe and valid in my identity.

Why I Need Help: As I continue my transition, I want to embrace my identity fully, but financial barriers are holding me back. I am currently seeking funds to help with:

A Wig: A high-quality wig will help me feel more comfortable and confident as I express my gender identity. Cost: $189.90

Laser Hair Removal: I want to begin treatments to help feminize my appearance, which is crucial for my mental well-being and self-acceptance. Cost: $1,770.00

While these are just the initial steps in my journey, they are vital for my comfort and confidence as I move forward in the world. I am merely beginning to address the parts of my body and self that contribute to an otherwise daily sense of dysphoria. 

The current goal is set at $3,000, I am aiming for $1,960 - anything passed $1,960 will go directly toward doctor's visits, prescription costs, and furthering my transition medically. The next big step is FFS (Facial Feminization Surgery), but I am only just now starting to do my research on it.
