Hi everyone!

My name is Celine Charles, and I am in my final year at the University of North Florida. I am pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Health Studies with minors in Health Administration, Communication, and Leadership.

This spring, I have the opportunity to participate in a study abroad internship in Costa Rica. The program focuses on community-based projects and partnerships with local organizations, exploring how social, environmental, and cultural factors impact community health and wellness. I will engage in service-research projects alongside local professionals, learning directly from initiatives that support both communities and sustainable development. Your support will help cover program fees, travel, meals, and other essential expenses, making this life-changing experience possible.

As a student who has made the Dean’s List five times, I am committed to making the most of this experience. This program is a crucial step toward my career goal of working in nonprofit organizations and health initiatives that serve underprivileged communities, with a focus on health equity and wellness.
