Support Celestino and Valerie's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
My name is Alexius, and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart.
Around 11 PM on July 19th, my brother Celestino and his wife Valerie were involved in a four-car collision near the Bishop Arts District. One of the vehicles went airborne and landed on top of their car, leaving them pinned underneath.
Thanks to Celestino’s quick thinking and military training, he was able to apply a tourniquet to his arm, an act that ultimately saved it. While we are incredibly grateful they both survived, the road ahead will be long and difficult. He is now facing multiple surgeries, skin grafts, extensive rehabilitation, and physical therapy.
During this challenging time, we are asking for support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer. Your generosity will help cover medical expenses not fully covered by insurance, ongoing treatment, and living costs as they recover and are unable to work.
Please consider contributing in any way you can. We are beyond grateful for your love, support, and prayers.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Rubio Family
