Support Celeste's Battle Against Hodgkins Lymphoma

Donation protected
Celeste is my daughter, and I am writing this with a heavy heart. When she received the phone call that changed our lives—her cancer diagnosis—we held each other, cried, and tried to absorb the devastating news. She has shown an incredible amount of bravery and courage, keeping a strong face for everyone around her, but as her parent, I also see the pain that she endures every day. Her strength is nothing short of inspiring, but as her mom, I would give anything to take away the hurt and suffering she’s experiencing.

I’m reaching out to our friends, family, and community with a humble request: If you can, please consider helping Celeste with any contribution toward her medical expenses. Every little bit helps and will make a tremendous difference in her ability to focus on healing, rather than the financial strain of her treatment.

We are so incredibly grateful for all the love and support we’ve received so far. Your kindness means the world to us during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any help you can offer, whether it’s a donation, a kind word, or simply keeping Celeste in your thoughts and prayers. Together, I know we can help her fight this battle.

A few words from Celeste:

I thought this current year of life would be a much different experience than it has been. July 2024 was meant to be a celebration of turning 30, but instead, I found myself falling sick. In the following months, my health slowly declined even more dramatically. Unsure of what it could be, I underwent various testing, biopsies, and procedures until, finally, in October 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. Since then, I have been undergoing chemotherapy and taking medications to fight this cancer.

Anyone who knows me can tell you I am not usually the one to ask for help. If there is anything that being diagnosed with cancer has taught me, it is that it is okay to ask for help when you need it. I now find myself needing help in more ways than one. With the love and support of my family, friends, and coworkers, I have continued to remain hopeful and have no doubt I will overcome this. I truly thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

A few words from friends and family:

Before Celeste was even born, I knew she was going to be an amazing beautiful person and sure enough I was right. Every time I think of what she has accomplished so far, I feel so much pride and joy. Let me tell you she isn’t done yet!
She has a big obstacle in her way, but it’s not stopping her from being an amazing person. This obstacle is called Hodgkins Lymphoma. I have no doubt that she’s going to beat this!
Right now she needs our help with the medical expenses, so she doesn’t have to worry about them and focus on her beating this cancer. God knows I would do anything for Celeste and if I could take her place I would definitely do it.
I Love You So Much Celeste

I have the privilege of saying Celeste was my first friend in life. Being only 4 1/2 months older than me, she has been someone I have admired since we were little kids. She always finds a way to make others feel special, even when she has her own battles. When I first found out she was sick, I was completely devastated. It’s one of those examples of “bad things happen to good people.” Although being devastated, I knew Celeste was going to put up a strong fight. She has a kind, gentle, and loving soul, but she has that fighter mentality and the determination to not let anything get in her way.
Celeste is an amazing, selfless human being that does not ask for much. But, right now, we can show our support by donating to her medical bills so she can continue focusing on kicking cancer’s butt.
I look forward to the day we can put this behind us and celebrate with some karaoke. I love you, Celeste.

Celeste is my best friend. She has been a best friend of mine since we were in elementary school, and she has always been there for me. Celeste is the type of person who can always put a smile on your face even when she’s feeling down. She works in education and is well respected in her field; her positive impact has touched many lives. When I found out about Celeste’s diagnosis, I was devastated, cried and I wanted to do anything I could to help support her. She has been so strong through her chemotherapy treatments and I hope that one day she will no longer need them. Please help give my best friend more strength and give her a chance to feel like herself again.

Celeste is one of the most big-hearted people I’ve been lucky to have in my life. Seven years ago, I never thought she would become one of my closest friends. I can go to her with anything and know she will listen and problem-solve with me. She is someone who is selfless and always puts others before herself, whether as a friend, family member, or teacher. Despite facing many obstacles, Celeste has proven that she is one tough warrior by overcoming them. No one deserves to face the reality of what she’s going through. I know this is just another challenge for her, but C will prove to be a baddie and continue being the amazing person she is! I am so proud to call her my friend because friends like her are hard to come by these days.

----------
I met Celeste in 2023. I was teaching 7th grade and she was teaching 8th grade right next door. I remember asking Celeste for help with lesson planning/advice on how to teach my classroom. We grew really close and we started hanging out outside of our workplace. Ever since, she has been an amazing friend, uplifting me at work and outside of work.

Sadly, Celeste was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a cancer that attacks your immune system. She has been going to chemotherapy sessions and getting injections for the past months. Seeing one of my dearest friends go through this, is truly heartbreaking. Throughout this whole event, she has been working full-time for our school and coaching other educators.

With medical bills adding up, she is need of some assistance to cover what insurance won’t. I’m humbly asking for donations to help her during this time. This will help cover treatments, transportation, and other basic needs. Big or small, anything helps! Thank you!

You got this Celeste! You’re my hero!
