Help Celeste & Jim Durkin Through Their Medical Crisis’

Our friends, Jim and Celeste Durkin, are currently fighting two very hard battles. Celeste is undergoing cancer treatment with daily chemotherapy and/or radiation treatment. While she is courageously facing cancer, Jim has been struck with a sudden and terrifying medical emergency.

Doctors have diagnosed Jim with cryptococcosis, a serious fungal infection that is attacking both his spine and brain. Jim had to be airlifted from Eureka to San Francisco for emergency medical care and is now beginning intensive treatment while under close medical supervision.

What makes this situation especially heartbreaking is that both Celeste and Jim are battling severe medical conditions at the same time, in different cities, requiring extensive treatment, travel, and support.

Family and friends have already been a huge help but now with Jim’s condition, hospital stays, and the overwhelming costs that come with two major medical crises, we are calling on our community to help.
