Support Celene Vallejo's Return to Her Family

Hello, my name is Josselyn Alexa Vallejo Navarro. The woman you see in the picture is my mother, Celene Vallejo, who was taken from us by immigration three years ago when I was 16. At that time, she had to leave behind my two younger siblings—my 12-year-old sister and my 8-year-old brother.

After three long years, my mother has finally been called for her green card appointment in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. She has served her time and has been forgiven. As we enter a new year, it feels like a miracle. The holidays were difficult for us, as we didn’t have much hope or stable jobs. The harsh rain and weather affected my father, who works as a construction worker, and I was laid off from my seasonal job. We never imagined that 2025 would bring us the chance to reunite with our mother.

The immigration system and deportation process here in California have been challenging, but now we have hope. We finally have the opportunity to be together as a family. My father, who has been living as a single parent of three and carrying the burden as the head of the household, needs my mother the most.

If you can help our family in any way, we would be deeply grateful. God bless you all.
