On Friday morning, something happened that no high school team should ever have to experience.

The car belonging to a beloved coach of the Cedar Grove High School soccer team was stolen from his driveway in East Atlanta. Inside that car was everything for the team including soccer balls, ladders, cones, and essential training equipment the players rely on every single day.

When the car was later recovered, it had been crashed into a pole and riddled with bullets. The equipment was gone.

This wasn’t just gear.

This was the result of 3 years of fundraising by a program that is often overshadowed by championship football and basketball teams. For the last 3 years, this coach and his players worked tirelessly to raise money so they could finally have proper practice equipment and training tools to build their program.

In one morning, nearly all of it disappeared.

These student athletes showed up ready for a new season. Now they are left starting over.

We are asking the community, alumni, parents, and supporters to help us rebuild what was lost so these players can step onto the field with the equipment and resources they deserve.

Every dollar will go directly toward replacing essential items such as:

Soccer balls and practice equipment

Agility ladders, cones, and training gear

Practice sets and program essentials

Additional equipment needed to fully restore the program

This team already proved they are willing to work for what they have. Now they just need a little help getting back to where they were.
