Cecilia MacDonald and her family were devastated by yesterday’s storm (August 18th) that brought close to 9 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. She and her children evacuated their home as flood waters began rising from the basement into the first floor. Her husband stayed behind with the animals and climbed to higher ground with the animals to escape the rising water.

When the rain stopped and water receded, they were left with a destroyed basement and first floor. They need help rebuilding their home to make it livable again for their children, one of which is autistic. Any amount would be a blessing and greatly appreciated.
