16 years ago, I graduated with a master's degree and thought I was headed into the music education field with a goal to shape the future educators of our world and to be the next TMEA President! (Tell God your plans, and listen as he laughs!)

Little did I know that God would lead me to a ministry that not only gives me the chance to serve others through my musical gifts, but one that has been of great service to me also for the past 15 years! It is now time to enhance my ministry through the opportunity of a doctoral program designed just for people like me who love what they do and want to keep doing it while focusing on personal growth and improvements within our respective fields. There is much work to do to enhance and support communities through music ministry in our ever-changing world!

I am beyond excited (and slightly terrified!) to be entering school this summer at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in the Doctor of Pastoral Music program.

I'm SO grateful for the support of my family to cover many expenses associated with school and also receive some tuition assistance from the university. However, this is not enough to cover all costs, therefore I am asking for your financial support at this time in addition to your prayers and happy vibes! I know that times are hard for everyone, which makes it even harder for me to ask, but I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer. Every dollar helps provide for school supplies, housing assistance and food during the intensives, books, and a much-needed coffee while in "writing crisis-mode!"
