Support Cecilia's Battle Against Metastatic Cancer

Donation protected
In April 2023, my mom, Cecilia, had surgery to remove masses that had grown around her
uterus, but while the doctors were performing the surgery, the masses looked malignant, so they only got biopsies done. The results came back and she was diagnosed with Stage IV A uterine cancer. My mom went through chemotherapy, external and internal radiation, and she’s now on medication to control the cancer.
The oncologist said the chemo and radiation worked great; the mass she has went from grapefruit size to a tangerine, but her surgeon doesn’t want to operate to remove it because it’s too dangerous and close to the bowels. Even if she did get it removed safely, the cancer would very likely come back, that it was incurable.

This month, her oncologist said everything looked good, there was no growth & my mom asked if she could to go back to work to pay off medical bills & monthly expenses. She was planning to return to work in January 2025 and she was super excited.

On Saturday, 12/21, my mom was telling me her right arm felt numb & she was very dizzy so we spent the whole day together. We watched movies and ate dinner.. I asked her if she wanted to go to the hospital, but she said she felt better..

On Sunday afternoon, 12/22, I went to work when my mom messaged me saying her arm felt numb again. I told her to let my brother know, who was close by. She stopped replying & I called my brother to go check on her as I sent paramedics to her house. She was passed out & paramedics took her to the hospital. The nurses did a head CT to check if she was having a stroke, but they actually found 3 lesions in her brain & that she had had a seizure. She was transported to White Memorial where she had MRIs and CTs done, with the results being the cancer metastasized to her brain.

With now needing radiation treatment again but now to her brain, my mom has decided to go through with her treatment.

My mom is the strongest woman I know, she should be able to focus on fighting cancer and healing without any worries or stress, so we are asking for help to cover monthly bills, medical expenses, and any other needs she might have.
We appreciate any help whether it be any size funds, a share, or prayers. Thank you for the support. We are forever grateful.
