Support Cecile's Breast Cancer Recovery Journey

Hi, my name is Cecile, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the hardest times in my life. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing a double mastectomy (removal of both breasts) on May 29, 2025. This life-saving surgery is necessary for my health, but it also means I’ll be out of work for at least two months as I recover.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), I’ve dedicated my life to caring for others — lifting, feeding, and supporting patients every day. My work is physically demanding, and after surgery, I won’t be able to return until I’ve fully healed.

Unfortunately, I don’t have full insurance coverage, and my job doesn’t offer paid time off. That means I’ll have no income while recovering, and the financial stress is overwhelming. That’s why I’m asking for your help.

How Your Support Will Help:

• Monthly bills (rent, utilities, groceries)

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance

• Transportation to and from appointments

I am hoping to raise $8,000 to help cover these expenses over the next two to three months while I can’t work. This would lift a huge burden from my shoulders and give me the peace of mind to focus fully on healing.
