Support Cecil: Healing, Hope and Keeping the Ranch Going

Dear friends, family and kind hearted strangers,

For the past few months our father, Cecil has been battling serious medical conditions that have left him unable to tend to his horse business on their property or participate in day to day life. What started out as a discovery of “giant cell arteritis” has turned in to multiple strokes as well as kidney and heart concern.. while still running tests at a hospital in Portland.

As he fights through this difficult season, his wife, Leslie and adult children have been by his side as his full-time caregivers. Beyond this, Leslie has had to maintain the flow of the business on her own, which is very physically demanding. With an uncertain road ahead, they are facing mounting medical expenses, daily living costs, and the urgent need to hire a ranch hand to keep their business running. The doctors are also recommending in patient physical therapy when the time comes, and with out health insurance, we need to be prepared.

Cec has always been a hardworking, giving person— someone who shows up for others without hesitation and trusts in the Lord’s plan. The uncertainty of what’s to come and what is the cause of his health issues can create a lot of fear - but we know that God has a plan for him and our family and that is the foundation that we’re choosing to stand on.
