On July 4th, what was supposed to be a day of family fun at an all-American baseball game followed by fireworks quickly became the worst day of our lives. A fast-moving foul ball came into the stands and struck our sweet Cece in the head with devastating force.
Cece underwent emergency brain surgery and is now four days post-surgery. She is healing remarkably well, but there is still a long road ahead. In the weeks, months, and year to come, she will require close monitoring and continued care as she works toward recovery. Jen and Eric are doing everything they can to support their daughter through this unimaginable ordeal.
We want to help ease the financial burden of medical expenses and provide support for any rehabilitation and ongoing care Cece may need. Our hope is to give Jen and Eric the peace of mind to focus entirely on Cece's healing, rather than worrying about the challenges that lie ahead.
So many of you have asked how you can help, and we are truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support for Cece and her family.
We are deeply grateful for every prayer, message, and act of kindness.
The Velez/Nicholson sisters are asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Please know that your prayers are always appreciated first and foremost, but if you are able to help support our sweet little Cece and her family, it would mean more than words can express. Your generosity and compassion will make a world of difference, and we are sincerely grateful for any support you can give.
