Hello Friends, Family and Supporters,

A few years ago, I was toying with the idea of becoming a Somatic Coach, but the circumstances of life made the timing feel out of alignment. After a solid 6 years of practice, I am happy to circle back and share that I have arrived at the season of my life where embarking on this journey of becoming a Somatic Coach not only makes sense, but is necessary for me to step deeper into my powers as a transformational leader that desires to live within my commitments to change, and support others being within theirs.

I believe we are at a choice point; we can either choose to continue on this path of disembodied social, political, and ecological destruction or we can connect with our embodied intelligence and make actionable, embodied, changes to become the vision we have for the world. I feel ready to answer the call to develop my somatic skills to confidently embody the coach I want to be, from my own presence and longing for societal change, and I am humbly asking you to financially support me in building this dream with me.

We become what we practice, and I deeply desire the opportunity to practice a year of slowing down, listening to the wisdom of my body, and practicing new ways of being that bring more choice, courage, and aliveness into my life. My dream is to engage in a year of developing these skills, to build the presence and embodied awareness to serve as a coach to movement workers, caregivers, youth workers, and anyone else ready to take action towards their vision for the world.

In order to cultivate these skills, I will be enrolling in the Strozzi Institutes Embodied Transformation course, a prerequisite for their Somatic Coaching Certification, starting in the Fall of 2026. I have dreamt of this program for a long time, but it is a large financial investment that I am not able to take on alone. I am asking that anyone who feels compelled to support me, contribute whatever meaningful amount they can to support me on this path to becoming a coach.

The Somatic Coach Certification course itself is $16,492.50 if I apply at their early bird rate. My immediate goal is to fundraise $2,453 to secure my position in the Embodied Transformation Prerequisite. Once we exceed this goal, I will consider raising it to help financially support the next leg of this journey.
