Hi my name is Cera, and I’m Cecilia’s mom! We, Michael and I, have not been vocal about it but we found out when I was 24 weeks pregnant with Cecilia that she had a few congenital heart defects. She has had a rough road from a NICU stay, to an NG tube for feeds, and finally she has had a G-tube placed for her feeds. But she has been resilient in all these hiccups if you will. We have been advocating for CeCe for months now and have finally had the help from a cardiologist to close the hole in her heart, a VSD. We go for open heart surgery this Friday the 9th to get this fixed. This will allow her to thrive and get big and strong like all the babies out there. This surgery will be a huge step in fixing her defect. We are asking for your help, big or small, it is always appreciated.
