This effort is in honor of my friend, CeCe Falls. CeCe and I met through a mutual friend while collaborating on a project serving adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse (ASCSA) and adult sexual assault. Together, we helped create art-based spaces and workshops designed to nurture survivors, educate allies, and foster greater understanding and healing within the broader community.
An advocate and deeply cherished friend to many, CeCe has shown up time and again for others. Now it is her turn to be supported. I want to be there for her, but I cannot do it alone. I am reaching out to our community and shared networks to ask for your support on her behalf. Please take a moment to read her message below and offer whatever you are able—whether that’s a contribution or simply helping to spread the word. Thank you in advance for the care, compassion, and love you extend through this effort.
Alternatively, you can donate to her directly at:

Hi, I’m CeCe. I’ve been out of work since August 2025 and have been actively searching for employment, without success so far. I’ve picked up a few odd jobs along the way, and the kindness of friends has helped keep me afloat. I’ve done my best to hold things together, but the ongoing uncertainty has been challenging, both financially and emotionally.
I’m now facing late payments and fees that I can’t cover, along with trouble accessing basic necessities like food and gas. One particular concern is the possible loss of the belongings I have in a storage unit in NYC. It may not sound like a major issue, but these things include my writings, family photos and artwork — and when you’re already navigating significant losses, being separated from the things that matter to you can feel especially disempowering.
Asking for help isn’t easy—especially knowing so many others are struggling—but this is where I am right now. Any support would be truly appreciated.
