Hi everyone, my name is April - I was born and raised in Cebu, and this island will always be home to me. It breaks my heart to see the people suffering once again. Cebu has endured so much - from the earthquake that shook our homes, to now Supertyphoon Tino that tore through the island leaving destruction everywhere.

Many families have lost everything - their homes, their clothes, their food, and even their sense of safety. Entire communities are displaced, children are sleeping on cold floors or not sleeping at all, and mothers are trying to keep their families warm and fed with whatever little they have left. Roads are flooded, electricity is gone in many areas, and clean water is becoming harder to find.

I may be far away now, but my heart is with Cebu. This GoFundMe is my way of doing something ,no matter how small - to help those who have lost so much. All funds raised will go toward food packs, clean drinking water, blankets, clothing, and temporary shelter for affected families.

Every single donation, no matter the amount, will make a real difference. Even sharing this campaign helps us reach more people who care. Cebu is strong, but we can’t rebuild alone. Please help bring hope and comfort back to my hometown.
