On 6/17/24, our whole world changed when we found out that our 27-year-old daughter has stage 4 breast cancer that had spread to her spine. What was thought to be a pinched nerve in her back has turned out to be a scenario that we could have never imagined. She’s a hardworking, loving person who always helps provide for her family. She and her husband are parents to a beautiful two-year-old daughter and a gorgeous five-month-old son.
You may know Ceara from her years working in Babysitting at the Cumberland, MD YMCA or from her current job as an LPN at Children’s Medical Group. She endured a nine-hour spinal surgery on 6/20/24 that successfully removed the tumor that was causing numbness and loss of feeling in her hands and arms. Due to the surgery on her spine, she will be unable to work or drive for six months. She will require numerous trips to the hospital for radiation treatments on her spine and various other treatments for the breast cancer itself.
We're trying to make it so she doesn't have to stress about paying her bills and can focus on her recovery and healing. If you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't, it's ok too; sharing and praying are greatly appreciated as well!
