My name is CDR Melvin “Ol’ Spice” Giddin Sr. and my partner and I are excited to share a special project that’s very close to our hearts – our very first children’s book, Foxtrot Lima Yankee (FLY). This book introduces children to the World of Aviation through the eyes of a Minority Naval Aviator. It’s designed to inspire imagination, spark curiosity, and educate children on the thrills, and missions of some of the world's greatest pilots.

As a blended family, we’ve always believed that stories have the power to shape young minds. That’s why we poured our hearts and soul’s into creating a book that will entertain, educate, empower. Now, we’re turning to you for support to make this dream a reality!

Your contribution will help cover the costs of expenses such as illustrations, publishing, marketing, etc., so that Foxtrot Lima Yankee Vol 1 can reach as many children as possible.
