Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
Our dear friend and colleague CC (who for privacy concerns, we will only use her initials), was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Which has unfortunately spread throughout other parts of her body and is also in her bones. This diagnosis came as a shock, and her life has changed overnight. She will have to live with this condition for the remainder of her life.
As she prepares to undergo treatment, there is still so much uncertainty—about her health, her ability to work, and how she will manage to care for her child during this incredibly difficult time. As you can imagine, the emotional and financial strain is overwhelming. Right now, she needs our help. The funds raised here will go directly toward:
- Medical expenses not covered by insurance
- Childcare and daily living costs
- Rent, utilities, and groceries
- Transportation to and from treatment
- Giving her the peace of mind to focus on healing
