Support CBJ During the Pandemic COVID-19

The Pandemic has taken a hold of the entire world.  The new normal is extremely hard to navigate, and leaves many of us with great uncertainty on where and how we will land when this all comes to an end.    Atlanta's food truck experience has been halted due to all cancellations of festivals.  Vending opportunities around the city have dried up, causing many food trucks to lose thousands of dollars in revenue and seek vending opportunities in our community where they hadn't prior to this Pandemic.  We understand everyone's desire to maintain their business revenue during this time, and we support their small businesses even though we ourselves are struggling.

We are doing what we must daily to weather the storm while servicing our community.  It's a difficult time because as much as we wish to sustain our business, we understand that our customers must sustain their families and that means they may not be able to pull up on us as they had in the past.  They too must conserve not knowing what tomorrow brings for their families.   We are bracing ourselves for the worst, while staying optimistic that we ALL will be alright in due time.

This business is our LIFE!  We take pride in serving our community and putting quality food in the mouths of many.  It feels good when a neighbor thanks  you for providing dinner to their family after working a 12 hour shift.  It feels good when a Morehouse Senior makes you his choice once a week, always requesting the sprouts and slightly disappointed when we don't have it.  The mechanic from down the block who was hesitant about a $13 burger, only to come back and tell us no one has given him quality food like we have provided.  It feels good when a customer brings her mother and her mother then becomes our regular,  and it's insanely amazing that our favorite customer Michael still pulls up for lunch and now brunch, and never seems to be disappointed in what he orders.  We are always humbled by their arrival and smile.

People have chosen to weave us in the fabric of their lives. That's so incredibly dope!   Che Butter Jonez has become a part of their story, and who would want to lose that.  We love the smiles, the interaction, the relationships we've built with our customers over the past two years and even though we are navigating uncharted waters...we intend to just keep swimming!

The funds will allow us to continue to serve our community, while sustaining the expenses that the Pandemic has made difficult at this time.  When our new normal provides just a little more clarity as to where we are headed in the future, we truly hope you know that you will forever be apart of our story.

We wish to heal our little corner of the world through food, and we thank you for assisting us with that!
