Hi, my name is Caylie Reilly.
I am a senior Film & Television major at SCAD. Originally from New Jersey, I am excited to be collaborating with Lilies of David: a New Jersey based band, for my senior thesis project. Together, we’re creating two music videos that showcase both my directing and production design work while celebrating our shared roots.
About the Projects
- "119" - Shooting in December in Savannah, GA. We are building an entire set from scratch inside a film studio to create a surreal, looping hallway where time seems frozen. Logline: A woman steps into a hallway where every clock is stopped at 1:19, and as she searches for escape, she discovers she is trapped inside her own mind.
- "Float" - Filming this upcoming April in New Jersey, bringing the project back home. This one will contrast the constructed world of 119 with a natural, dreamlike setting. Logline: A woman drifts between the calm of open water and the chaos of her inner thoughts, searching for release as she moves toward an uncertain horizon.
Why We Are Raising Funds
Film production is a massive team effort, and these projects cannot come to life without support. We are raising money to cover:
- Production Design: building, construction, and set decoration
- Camera & Lighting Rentals: capturing the highest quality visuals
- Production Costs: crew meals, permits and on-set logistics
- Travel: bringing our Savannah crew to New Jersey for Float
Why It Matters
This is not just a class project to me, this is the launchpad for my career as a filmmaker and designer. Both music videos will be submitted to festivals, serve as portfolio pieces, and continue my collaboration with Lilies Of David. By contributing you are directly helping young artists tell bold, visual stories and make the leap into the professional world.
