On May 19th, Cayla’s world was turned upside down in a devastating car accident. She is battling a traumatic brain injury and other serious complications. We are profoundly grateful that she is still with us and showing signs of progress. While the road ahead will be difficult, Cayla is no stranger to overcoming adversity.

We're super excited about Cayla's bright future ahead. She's earned a college scholarship and is scheduled to graduate high school on Thursday, May 29th. She's a scholar-athlete, and thanks to her incredible dedication, she'll enter college with over 45 credits already completed. Our collective desire is to give her the best chance at starting school as scheduled in September.

Cayla’s recovery will require extensive rehabilitation, specialized medical equipment, and continuous care. As a result, medical, travel, lodging, food and more expenses are mounting as her Mom (Mari), Bonus Dad (Michael) and other family members remain by her side.
