The Zundel family is facing an unexpected and challenging season, and we’re coming together to support them with love, prayer, and practical help.

Recently, Cayla was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Since then, she has undergone surgery and is now preparing to begin chemotherapy. As you can imagine, this has been an overwhelming time for their entire family.

Cayla and her family are not only navigating the physical and emotional toll of cancer treatment, but also the financial burden that comes with it. Between medical bills, ongoing treatment, and time spent focusing on healing and family, the costs add up quickly. Cayla will continue to work throughout the chemotherapy, potentially having to take more days off and go on leave without pay.

At the heart of all of this is their sweet 2.5-year-old son. Cayla’s greatest focus right now is fighting this disease so she can continue being the loving, present mother, partner, and dedicated police officer her family knows her to be.
