During a routine, three month check up at the end of October, Cayden’s MRI scans showed a very concerning spot. After his Children’s team, Mayo team, and St. Jude’s study board reviewed his scans, they all believe it is a relapse. Our absolute worst nightmare is now our new reality.

Cayden is having his second brain surgery tomorrow, November 20th, to remove the spot. It will be sent to pathology and we will know preliminary results within 48 hours. Treatment will be decided after the results are in.
