We are Cayde and Puck Fae. This past year has not been kind to us. In April, Cayde was laid off. Our roommate moved out in June as had been planned previously. Cayde was able to find employment in September before their unemployment ran out, but unfortunately their health did not work with this job and they needed to quit without having another job lined up despite still looking. Puck Fae began searching for a job as well at the start of December though they are only able to work part time as they have been trying to get disability/SSI for most of the past 9 years.

Despite many applications, both have either largely heard nothing or been rejected without interview. What few interviews have been had have also resulted in rejection.

Their families have been trying to help but such help can only go so far if the situation continues as it does. Rent and utilities are already behind and late fees have stacked up, to say nothing of how it will grow or of the basic necessities: groceries for Cayde or pet care for the cats. (Puck Fae has SNAP benefits that have finally been corrected by the county.)

If you can help in any way (small or big) to keep us housed, keep the lights on, keep the heat on, keep the internet going for us to keep searching for employment... We would be so very grateful. To say that we are terrified of what will happen if things don't start improving is an understatement.
