I'm making this as another shot in the dark. I am currently seeking a way to rent a car and drive to Pennsylvania as a way to get Cathy there so she can spend some time with her father before he gets too sick. He is 79 with late-stage congestive heart failure.

We are currently down to one vehicle that is 26 years old and held together with duct tape and a prayer. There is no way ol' faithful would make that trip.

I'm looking for a way to rent a car and make the trip with the family before he goes downhill faster. Financially, we have zero extra. I am currently awaiting a mild back surgery and lost my income. Cathy works like a champ, but obviously, one income doesn't work anymore, especially if you have kids. Her father is on a fixed income with a caretaker.

I'm just a guy trying to help out his family.
