Support Cathy's Fight Against Health Challenges

Hi everyone, My name is Raychel, and my Brother Justin and I are reaching out to help our amazing mom, Cathy. She has always been our family's rock, always doing for others but right now, she is facing some overwhelming health challenges and we need your support to get through this difficult time!

Over the past year, my mom has been battling a series of health issues that have taken a significant toll on her and our family. This all started last summer when she was diagnosed with Kidney disease. Over just a couple of months, she had several severe infections and her body was producing large kidney stones which were not just incredibly painful but also completely debilitating. She was hospitalized several times and even had to be transported by ambulance for an emergency procedure on one occasion. In the midst of all that, she had a Cancer scare which led to her needing to have a PET scan and a lung biopsy which she had to pay for upfront. Thankfully, she did not have cancer but she did have a rather serious infection in her left lung and she has had COPD so it just made things a lot worse. With all of this going on it made it impossible for her to work and our Dad, Mike “Tank” had just had knee replacement surgery and was out of work for 8 weeks. So there was no income coming in at all during that time at all. If that wasn't enough, she just recently fell and broke her ankle in several places, requiring immediate medical attention and ongoing care.

But the challenges didn't stop there. Just as she was beginning to come to terms with her injury, we received the devastating news that she now has something wrong with her heart that will require surgery right away! The combination of her broken ankle and the upcoming surgery means she will be out of work for an extended period, unable to contribute financially.

The medical bills are piling up, and the cost of ongoing care, medications, and daily living expenses is becoming unmanageable. My dad, Mike “Tank” has been doing everything he can to support them both, but with only one income, it's not enough to cover their living expenses and all the extra medical expenses that continue to roll in!

We are doing our best to stay positive and support each other, but they need your help to make it through this tough time.
