Support Cathy Zamora's Cancer Battle

Aloha everyone,

Help us support Cathy Zamora with her treatments in fighting cancer.

This GoFundMe campaign has started in order to help with the financial burden of her cancer treatments (radiation & chemotherapy), associated out of pocket medical and travel costs - her team of specialists are located on the island of O’ahu.

The latter part of June 2024, Cathy slowly lost movement in her left arm/hand and leg/foot which made it difficult for her to perform her normal day to day activities and required 24/7 assistance. The following month she received the devastating news that her MRI scan detected a brain tumor.

Because Cathy lived on the Big Island, it was necessary for her to travel to Queen’s Medical Center on O’ahu to undergo a craniotomy in July. While recovering from her brain surgery, additional tests were done at Queens and was later diagnosed with endometrial carcinoma.

As of late August 2024, her CT scan showed a regrowth of her brain tumor and the cancer metastasized to her lungs.

Cathy has received brain radiation therapy to stop the growth of her brain tumor and has completed 6 sessions of chemotherapy treatments to kill the fast-growing cancer cells.
